In Germany, take pictures of Heidelberg Castle, then continue to Worms to visit the cathedral, Trinity Church, and the famed Reformation Monument. Enjoy visits to the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz, Coburg Fortress in Coburg, and the Augustinian Monastery in Erfurt, as well as a scenic Rhine cruise. In Eisleben, visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the house where Luther was born and the Sterbehaus Museum. Also visit St. Andrew's Church, where Luther preached his last sermon, and the St. Peter and Paul Church, where he was baptised. In Wittenberg, enjoy a guided walking tour featuring the Reformation Museum, Luther House, St. Mary's Church, Castle Church, and Luther's tomb. Next, stop in Eisenach to visit Wartburg Castle, the Luther and Johann Sebastian Bach Memorials, the house where Luther lived during grammar school, and more. Two nights in Nuremberg, the first town to accept the Reformation, include a visit to the famous Lutheran Lorenz Church and an excursion to picturesque Rothenburg, with time to shop for the Christmas ornaments for which this town is famous.
