This is the perfect trip to explore the Northern and Eastern part of Germany. Start and end in the once-divided capital, Berlin, where guided sightseeing features the city’s highlights. From here, drive through what used to be the “other” Germany to Dresden. Badly damaged in February 1945, the city has since been restored in its baroque splendor. Visit Zwinger Palace and the Green Vault, and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Via Meissen, where a visit to the porcelain factory is included, continue to Leipzig. Your Local Guide will show you the Thomaskirche, where J.S. Bach worked. Next, visit the Herder Church in Weimar and arrive in Erfurt, where Martin Luther spent his student days. Also stop in picturesque Celle. In Hamburg, enjoy a harbor cruise, and back in Berlin, a special farewell dinner at a local restaurant has been prepared.
